This position may be extended to permanent part-time after the initial 3 months. Trinity Baptist Church is a growing body of Christians who are committed to meeting the spiritual needs of members and the community. Our music reflects the diversity of our congregation and includes traditional Christian hymns and Anglican compositions, as well as contemporary and gospel music. Our choir is composed of trained singers who read music, sing well, and prepare selections quickly. The choir currently meets for one hour after the Sunday morning service to rehearse music for upcoming services. We are seeking a part-time director who has a solid background in choral singing and conducting skills. This candidate should have a strong Christian faith, and the ability to lead the choir and congregation in worship on Sunday mornings. This director will also be responsible for selecting the choral music, as well as congregational hymns that enhance the liturgical scriptures used in the sermon. This director will also be responsible for selecting music and rehearsing with the handbell choir that meets for 45 minutes to an hour once a week. Our handbell choir plays for worship services once or twice a month. This director will also be required to prepare music for special services such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve. Starting salary is $150 a week. An additional $50 stipend will be paid for special services. Purpose:
The Youth Ministry Director seeks to provide a well-balanced program for youth that will seek to win the lost to Christ and to help those who are Christians to mature in Christ and discover the personal gifts and abilities with which God has blessed them. The one word that describes and entails the concept of youth ministry is the word “discipleship”. Principal Function: The Youth Ministry Director is responsible to the Pastor for planning, coordinating, promoting, and evaluating the church’s youth ministry which includes middle school and high school students. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Study and teach Bible lessons on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings Plan logistics, funding, free time activities, and Bible studies for youth camp, Preteen camp and DNOW (Disciple Now). Each camp can last between 3-6 days. Plan fellowship and special events including youth Christmas parties, graduation recognition service and reception, activities during breaks such as Spring Break, Fall Break, summer break, etc. Support each youth and their individual extra-curricular activities by attending school functions, sporting events, and ceremonies. Be available anytime for counseling, sick visits, and mentoring. To save on church budget, curriculum is researched and sometimes personally written to provide insightful, meaningful, age appropriate, faith-based lessons every Sunday and Wednesday. Provide volunteer opportunities in which they can be a positive example in our community. (Examples are blessing bag ministry, random acts of kindness, homeless and food shelters) Organize and plan several fundraisers throughout the year to fund camps and youth activities. Research and provide faith-based events such as Fields of Faith, revivals, and other events that involve other youth in our community and will enrich the youth’s spiritual lives. Qualities Needed: This individual should be an emotionally and spiritually strong and maturing Christian character, understanding that the only adult Christian example for many youth will come from what they witness in the youth ministry director. This individual should be able to relate to both older and younger students (middle and high school) and should have some form of experience and training with youth. They should be able to communicate well with parents and church staff. They should be organized and be able to plan and execute activities and events. Compensation: Starting pay is $150 a week |

Homecoming Fellowship Church is seeking an electric organ player or a guitar player. The Pastor will provide the three songs to be played on Monday so that person can practice them during the week. (Doing a solo is up to the player). We do not Facebook the music portion of the worship service unless the player wants to play a solo. We will pay $25 a week to reimburse for mileage. (Family bands or regular bands are welcome but, at the moment, we only afford the $25.) |

Personal Qualifications: The Church Administrative Assistant must be committed to the service of Jesus Christ and to the programs and ministries of FBC Moffat. Candidate should have excellent verbal, written communication skills and computer skills. Responsibilities: 1. Establish and maintain a pleasant, comfortable, clean, and safe office environment. 2. Have proficiency or become proficient in using necessary computer programs, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), Google Applications (Drive, Gmail), PowerChurch, and Canva. 3. Confidentiality. 4. Perform duties as assigned by the Pastor to include but not limited to: Prepare Sunday bulletins (worship guides) and inserts. Prepare church publications, such as calendar, as assigned by pastor. Complete correspondence in a timely manner 5. Answer the telephone, directing calls to the appropriate person, or, if necessary, receive and deliver messages. 6. Retrieve church-related e-mails, faxes, and other electronically received correspondence, and when necessary, provide responses as needed or direct to the appropriate person. 7. Greet people coming into the offices in a friendly and personable manner. 8. Maintain office files and records. 9. Inspect and maintain office equipment, including but not limited to the computer and peripherals, the copier, and the fax machine. 10. Order literature and supplies for all church programs as assigned. 11. Keep church membership rolls up to date. 12. Maintain contribution entries (tithes, offerings, etc.) in a secure, confidential manner. 13. Prepare and deliver yearly contribution letters to members and/or donors. 14. Maintain records of service for FBC Moffat. 15. Refill offering envelopes and visitor forms in the pews. 16. As requested, participate in scheduled staff meetings. 17. Perform other duties as approved by the Pastor. Compensation: The Church Administrative Assistant’s pay will be determined by the church on the recommendation by the Administrative Committee and adopted in the annual church budget. The Church Administrative Assistant is required to clock in and out on a timecard using the Time Clock provided. These timecards will be collected prior to the 1st and 15th of each month for compensation purposes. Vacation: The Church Administrative Assistant will accrue 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year from the time of employment and each year afterwards on the anniversary date. Vacation time must be taken in the 12 month period after it is earned. It does not, though, have to be taken all at one time. Vacation pay will be based on the average of the prior year’s weekly pay. Vacation time will be scheduled and approved by the Pastor. Employment Agreement: Employment can be terminated at the request of the individual or the church. Unless otherwise mutually agreed upon, a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days notice shall be given by either party regarding dissolution. The Pastor reserves the right to amend the above job description as indicated by need after discussion with the Administrative Committee.
